Service Schedule for Winter Break
Due to shipping delays, increased risk of losing items in the mail, staffing shortages, and workflow slowdowns in ILL systems during the holidays, most libraries will not fill interlibrary loan requests from mid-December through early January. As a result, JMU Libraries will pause most interlibrary borrowing operations during this period.

Scan & Deliver from JMU Libraries
Last day for scanning and electronic delivery: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at noon
Important Information:
- You may continue to submit requests during Winter Break; they will remain in "Held" status until processing resumes on January 5, 2026.
- You can continue to access any electronic articles already delivered.
- Borrowed items may still be picked up and returned during open library hours.
