Scan & Deliver
Scan & Deliver is available to faculty, staff, and students at James Madison University. Through the JMU Libraries Scan & Deliver service, library staff will scan articles or chapters from non-electronic journals, newspapers, or books held in any of the JMU Libraries print or microform collections. Digitized files are delivered electronically to your ILL account and remain available for viewing or download for 30 days.
Most requests are processed within 24-48 hours, however please note that this service is not staffed during weekends or when the University is closed.
Submit Scan & Deliver requests by logging into your ILL account with your JMU eID and password (If you are a first-time user of the system, you will first need to register after logging in) and select Journal/Article (under the New Request heading). A single journal article, newspaper article, or book chapter is considered one request – if you have multiple article or chapters, you will need to submit a request for each individual article or chapter title.
This service is provided at no charge.
If you have questions about Scan & Deliver, you can contact staff at interlib@jmu.edu.
